Halloween is a festival that almost everyone in the entire world is aware of. Although it originated in Ireland among the Celtic people, people from all over the world celebrate this day on October 31st every year by dressing up as their favorite character; fictional or real, dead or alive. A lot of economics research has predicted that costumes during Halloween this year will have a low demand due to the recessed period all over the world.
However, this is far from true. Everyone awaits for this opportunity to imitate their idol and be complimented on it. Children of all ages and even grown adults dress up, decorate their homes with pumpkin lanterns and go for the Halloween dance that is such a rage everywhere. The feast is delicious and elaborate and the Trick or Treat is as popular as ever with every variety of sweets and candies being given away.
There are quite a few interesting ideas regarding costumes for Halloween that covers people from all age groups.
For the Young Ones
There are numerous teen pop idols that every teenager below the age of 16 wants to imitate. One of them is Hannah Montana. Although it began as the main character of the popular Disney show, Hannah Montana soon became a teen brand sensation that every teenager could relate to. Her immaculate fashion is want attracts other girls of her age. Therefore, a Halloween costume based on the Hannah Montana theme is the perfect way to go on this day.
You don't have to be a scholar to know about Harry Potter. Although the books are the nodal point of the teen cult, it has rapidly grown into a worldwide brand name with accessories, clothes and movies being based on the series by British author J.K. Rowling. A lot of kids like to dress up as one of the characters from the series. The most popular among them include Harry Potter (of course) complete with the scar and the round spectacles with scruffy hair, Hermione, Ron, Dumbledore and even Lord Voldemort.

If you think only children took interest in their costumes during Halloween then you are highly mistaken. Adults are as excited about their attire as their minor counterparts! There are too many heroes, characters and villains from popular movies that provide a wide range of choice for all those costume enthusiasts during Halloween. Some of them include The Joker from the Batman series. Recently the character of The Joker in the hugely popular Hollywood movie The Dark Night has become a sensational character to imitate. Other than that Spiderman, Superman and even Wolverine from the X Men series are popular choices.
For females Wonder Woman, Cat Woman and the Playboy Bunny are most popular. Every woman secretly wishes to be part of the Playboy brand in some way or another. What better way to do so than dress up like one of the Playboy kittens on Halloween?
Characters from the Austin Powers' movies and Star Wars (Darth Vader) are all time favorites among costume enthusiasts.
