Easter Egg hunt

What would Easter be without an egg hunt?

My kids went on their first 2009 Easter Egg Hunt this weekend.  They had a blast!

The information about egg hunts is scattered all over so we’ve put together a day by day New York City 2009 Easter Egg Hunt Guide:

Saturday, April 4

Central Park Easter Egg Hunt
11:00 AM – 1 PM
Central Park at the Great Hill at W106th Street
FREE

“Decorate eggs, play games, enjoy free snack food and get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny!”

Brightwaters Farms and Nursery
10am-4pm
In Bay Shore, Long Island
$5 per child

Don’t worry about the weather. The egg hunt is inside the heated greenhouse. They also have breakfast with the Easter Bunny (reservations required).


Egg-Stravaganza at the Staten Island Children’s Museum

“The Farm Museum will hold its annual Egg Hunt in the orchard. Egg hunts will be ongoing throughout the day, “Whiskers” the bunny will be hopping  around the farm to greet children and pose for pictures, bring your camera. Dance the “Bunny Hop”, play egg toss and egg rolling games on the farmhouse lawn. “

The Bohemian Hall will have children’s egg hunt, egg painting and live entertainment with Pajtasi Band. A traditional Czech brunch/buffet menu will also be served.
