The perfect family outing in the heart of New York City.
The Victorian Gardens Amusement Park is a popular family attraction at the Wollman Rink in Central Park.
The amusement park is focusing on fun for kids and relaxation for parents. There is face painting, clowns, story telling, and balloon sculpting for children. And like all amusement parks, it has rides.
The rides that are specifically geared to ages 2-12 years old and can also accommodate adults of all sizes.
Any parent who has carried their tired children around in over sized amusement parks can appreciate a more relaxing experience where everything is close by.
The park is open from May to September.
This year it opens on May 28th, 2009 at 11 am.
But they have already started to take bookings for group outings and birthday parties.
Park Admission is:
$6.50 on weekdays and $7.50 on weekends and holidays.
On top of that you need to pay for the rides. Unlimited ride wristbands are $12 in weekdays and $14 on weekends and holidays. But you can also go for the pay as you go option where you pay $2 per ride.
