There are only a few days left before the Haunted Houses opens for 2009. Get the adrenaline going and plan your visit to New Yorks most popular haunted houses. Here is all you need to know.
Walk through a classic haunted house filled with vampires. The watch Nightmare 666: A short, sharp and grotesque black magic show.
This year at a new, bigger and scarier location. Not recommended to children under 12 and children under 7 are not allowed in no matter what.

Sept 25 – Oct 10 W,T,F,S,S 6-10 pm (open till 11pm the last 2 days)
Oct 11-24 T,W,T,F,S,S 6-10pm, 3-11pm on Sat and Sun and until 11pm on Thurs and Fri.
Oct 24 is Kids Day 10am – 3pm
Oct 25 – Nov 1 check the calendar for hours
Nov 4 -7 W,T 6-10pm F 6-11pm and Sat (Last Day) 3-11pm
Lines? Tickets are sold in thirty-minute time slots. For instance, if you buy a ticket for the 7:00PM time slot, you will enter the house between 7:00PM and 7:30PM. You’re advised to arrive fifteen minutes before your scheduled entrance time.

It is highly recommended to get tickets in advance or plan your visit during the first weeks of Oct. It gets very crowded.

Good list but you’re leaving out NYC’s newest and scariest haunted house. Only a couple of blocks away from Blood Manor in Chelsea, there is the brand new HAUNTED HOUSE (October 6-31), which is for adults-only and forces all of their audience members to walk through alone!! It’s only $14 and it looks like it will be much more intense than the ones listed above.
