More and more NYC bars are incorporating hot drinks into their cocktail menus, from hot toddies with bourbon to spiked hot cider. Get toasty and toasted this season with these warm drinks served at local bars:
- Golden Daze at Angel’s Share: warm water, sherry, brandy, honey, cloves, cinnamon, and ground ginger. 8 Stuyvesant St.
- Hot Mai Tai at Dutch Kills: rum, curacao, and orgeat syrup topped with hot water, whipped heavy cream, and amaretto liqueur. 27-24 Jackson Ave., Long Island City.
- Red Hot Ale at L’Ecole: Belgian amber ale, cognac, lemon juice, simple syrup, and orange bitters, heated with a red-hot poker. 462 Broadway.
- Mulled Wine at The Spotted Pig: 314 W. 11th St.
- Tom & Jerry at Bar Henry: Brandy, bourbon, eggs, brown sugar, cloves, allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg, mace, and whole milk, steamed with an espresso machine. 90 W. Houston St.

ps how do you add a track back??
Wow! These sound great. Just what you need to warm you up from the inside on a cold winter’s day. I guess the one pictured is the Tom & Jerry at Bar Henry. I wonder if this is something that will catch on elsewhere too.
