This week NYC Parks Department is opening up their doors and are offering fun events and activities. It means that you can try aerobic classes, yoga, weight-training, and cardio equipment  for FREE. It also means the pools and training equipment are open and you can swim during open swim times for free all week long.

The open house is on from  Monday, January 11 through Saturday, January 16, 2010.

There will be five centers featured during the week with extra special events and activities:

Tuesday, January 12: St. Mary’s Recreation Center, East 145th Street and St. Ann’s Avenue in the Bronx
Wednesday, January 13: Greenbelt Recreation Center, 501 Brielle Avenue across from Sea View Hospital in Staten Island
