A new edition to the NYC Earth Day offerings for 2010 is the Terracycle Green Up Shop, located on 8th avenue at 41st in the Port Authority. A joint project by the Fashion Center Business Improvement District, the Port Authority of NY and NJ, and the Times Square Alliance, Terracycle products are made from wrappers, billboard, used plastic…garbage! Talk about re-creating value. Terracycle will be featured all month, along with other local businesses that upcycle trash into new, like EarthSpirit Yoga Bags, RePlayGround, Abby Valentine, and Garbage of Eden Designs.
